GDPR, the new regulation governing personal data and, more importantly, our control over who uses our data and for what purpose, is coming into force on 25th May this year.
For the majority of businesses, a website is a necessity for all sorts of reasons. Your business may rely solely on the internet as its channel to market (think eBay, Amazon etc), or it may just be a shop window to tell potential customers more about what you do, why they should use you and where you are located (think Solicitors, Consultants, Vets etc).
Not a week goes by when we don’t hear headlines about a case of cyber crime. For some, these news stories have become wallpaper. It’s happening, but not to me. Does it really happen that much? Unfortunately, yes. Stop for a moment and think about it: what would it feel like if it did happen to you and what could the impact be?
