It's the web.  It's freedom to create, freedom to go places.

Without limitations.  It's no use in being tied in or down.

Express you and your business through your website, every day, every where.  Freely.  Easily.

Want a robust website which does everything a website should do?

We exclusively use Drupal for every website we do.  It's a content management system used by The White House and The Economist. We've designed our business and processes to build a site for £450 +VAT.

Down to earth.  Straightforward.  Plain talking work at plain talking prices.

The web has bells and whistles.  It changes.  It gets better.

Nothing is static.  You'll want to add - content and functionality.  You'll look to social media, mobile websites, e-newsletters, commerce and interaction.

You'll want it and we can help you get it.  Not in a flashy, big budget way, but in a sensible, creative way.  Make technology do your bidding.

Our old site looked like this.
We re-wrapped it.  Quickly & Easily.  More.

The new coolest thing for mobile.

Hi there

If you're looking for a website (for yourself or for a client) which is plain-talking, full of sensible functionality, driven by robust technology and without the pricing of an agency with grand expectations, then stop here and look around for a little bit.

You may be surprised by what you find.  We're hoping you will be.

If you think that a £450+vat website backed by a full content management system is a dream, that there must be a catch, then we hope your time here will persuade you otherwise.  We also hope to persuade you that these websites are true heavyweights, packed with solid and well-chosen functionality.  In fact, they're probably websites a bigger company, with a much bigger budget and a grander website agency, would be proud of.

80% of the websites we do are £450+vat ones.  Some choose e-commerce or are projects needing extra management, but most are not.  You can see that in the growing list of websites we've developed for companies in Witney, Oxford and beyond.  After all 80% of Witney and Oxfordshire businesses are small and need web design which reflects that.

Bring on the technology

Do you sometimes wish you had a website design agency who got technology?  When you asked about mobile websites, there wasn't a panic.  When you wondered about adding e-commerce, e-newsletters, funky functionality, there wasn't a blank look?

We are web developers.  In a way that means we're geeks.  We're programmers and coders.  So we've been able to become very intimate with a superb content management system (which is really a programming platform).  It's called Drupal - and loads of people use it, from the White House and the Economist to Browns Accountancy in Witney, Oxfordshire and the Oxford Philomusica.  It's so powerful and well designed that it can manage a huge diversity of functionality from basic web design to e-commerce.  Our experience in it gives us a big advantage in using it wisely - which translates into quicker development times and lower costs.

You'll find being on Drupal massively beneficial.  It's easy to use once set up.  You can add new things as they come along (think a mobile site for example).  It's choc-a-bloc with fantastic functionality which we can extend to you (Google Analytics and e-newsletters come as standard for example).  And it's open source.

Open Source?

Some of the best sofware in the world, used by many large organisations today, is open source.  That means a community of developers are developing on it.  They're not paid directly, but indirectly in the benefit of having access to software which they could never have developed alone.

Nowadays there are often companies behind open source software (offering services around it).  Even Microsoft offers support for Drupal (despite them having their own expensive product which competes with it).  It's more reasonable to get a smaller company to do it for you though - such as us.  Being based in Witney, Oxfordshire gives us a bit of a cost advantage over Microsoft!

Today the top content management systems are open source because commercial single product companies just can't compete with tens of thousands of developers.

We develop and provide fixes for Drupal (and some other projects), and in return we use Drupal for you.  It massively reduces our costs and that's reflected.

Open source also affects the way a company thinks of itself and the world.  It is after all a community, and companies like us think of everyone we deal with as our community.  We therefore share our code if you want it, make sure your website is truly yours.  So if at any point you want to take your Drupal website elsewhere, you're free to.  Our attitudes also reflect who we are and where we do business.  As a web design  (well, development but everyone calls it 'web design') business in Witney, Oxfordshire - we're grounded and think like a local business.
