About: QR Codes

More and more sites and offline places have QR codes - these little grids of black and white.  Point your mobile phone at them and you go straight to the page.  We're able to build these into sites and bring people to those pages.

QR codes are a very clever way to store small amounts of information - an email address, a business card or a website address (any page on your website).  Most smartphones now let you use the in built camera to take a picture of that code and offer you the option to visit that website.  If you have a promotion, brochure, business card or any other printed material, they're a very useful way of getting mobile users there quickly.

Your site can generate QR codes as pages are created and put them in a corner somewhere.  Someone browsing your site and wanting to transfer that link to their phone can take a picture of it on the screen.  You can copy that image and send it to your printer, embed it in an email or use it on any material you have.
