About: An introduction to branding

I sat at a presentation at the Witney Business Breakfast and listened to a presentation from Colin of Brilliant Mistake Branding based in Oxford.  It was quite an eye-opener.  We see customers from Oxfordshire and beyond coming for websites and struggling to communicate their brand - their '-ness' as Colin calls it.   We were in that situation too and came confidently out the other side after the presentation.  So we're sharing that information in a little Olamalu manual.

I think we're just scratching the surface, but it is a very good place to start.

It contains information on positioning yourself and then from that writing for your website or other marketing material.  The words that you develop will certainly help us as we work on your website - and probably anyone else working on your marketing.

If you're based in the Oxford or Oxfordshire areas, then you may want to follow one of Colin's courses, which are available from time to time.  With Olamalu websites, is then easy to update your words and your imagery as your brand develops.
